ATI Allied Health, a learning company for the allied health specialty, launched its new online Pharmacy Technician Training Package for pharmacy tech students, educators and employers.

The Pharmacy Technician Training Package is for both the novice and experienced pharmacy tech preparing to work or take a certification exam.

With assessments, tutorials, tools like flash cards and practice tests, the package can augment a traditional pharmacy technician curriculum or be used as a stand-alone to fully prepare the student to become certified or begin working. The package enables educators and employers to track candidates’ progress and follow up with remediation plans when needed.

“The collective goal for everyone — students, educators and employers — is heightened patient safety,” said Dan Schoepf, president of ATI Allied Health/National Healthcareer Association. “So, we are pleased to introduce a package that uses the most effective learning tools on the market to train technicians and make a positive impact on pharmacy care.”

Developed by pharmacy and education experts, ATI Allied Health’s training program uses the most innovative and enhanced learning techniques to engage students through animation, video and other interactive tools proven to assist their learning and knowledge retention. The use of this interactive and creative media accommodates different learning styles, increasing the chances of student success in comprehending and retaining pharmacy tech essentials.
