  1. Yes, effective workplace training is only part of an employer effort to combat sexual harassment. The training must be in person. I’m not buying the taped message from a CEO, I can hear the snickers now and potential comments. “It didn’t seem to bother him when the EVP had his hands all over the National Sales Director at the last offsite meeting.” The work needs to go beyond creating a culture of openness to creating a culture of safety.
