iCIMS, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider, has announced that CEO Colin Day was selected as a readers’ favorite in Fast Company magazine’s Fast 50 readers’ challenge.
Gathering innovative talent from the worlds of technology, design, entertainment and more, this year’s Fast 50 competition was focused on global corporate visionaries changing the world through environmental contributions.
After hundreds of nominees were rated and reviewed by thousands of the magazine’s readers, Day earned fourth place for his development of the iCARE program and his commitment to renewable energy.
Day’s Fast 50 nomination stemmed from his passion for environmental progression, specifically, decreasing reliance on fossil fuels.
With the belief that an organization’s success extends beyond revenue and profits, Day launched iCARE, a program that empowers employees to support environment causes.
Through a partnership with 3 Phases Energy Services, a provider of renewable energy options for businesses, institutions and nonprofits, iCIMS developed a corporate donation program that not only matches the company’s current electric usage but exceeds it by 92 percent.
In addition, iCIMS partners with Earth Share of New Jersey to offer a Workplace Contribution Program for employees to donate their time, talent or treasure to local environmental initiatives.
Recognized by readers not only for his pioneering philosophies but also for his dedication to the corporate community, Day has been illustrated as a “creative visionary with the remarkable ability to put innovative thought into successful practice” and “a model for progressive executives and corporations in the future.”
“He is a great example to corporate leaders in any industry, putting his beliefs in action personally and professionally — for himself, the company and the employees,” said Paula Aldarelli, Earth Share New Jersey director.
Using business as a force of positive change, Day’s enthusiasm has since spread more than fifty-fold through his powerful ability to lead by example.
Under Day’s leadership, iCIMS has become one of the largest and fastest-growing technology providers in North America.
Supporting more than 425 global clients on its iRecruiter Talent Platform, iCIMS continues to raise the bar in the industry and corporate community.
