Duluth, Ga. — Nov. 11

ChildCare Education Institute (CCEI), an IACET-approved distance training institution dedicated to the child care and education workforce, offers the course “Stress Management for Child Care Providers” to teach educators how to improve patience, organization and responsiveness in the early education environment.

Research indicates that the potential negative effects of stress in child care providers include, but are not limited to, poor judgment, irritability, insensitivity, impatience, forgetfulness and overall lower quality experiences offered to children in their care. CCEI’s course provides an overview of the effects of stress on child care providers and recommends techniques for coping with and managing stress to improve professionalism and job satisfaction. Participants will learn to define stress, identify sources and symptoms of different types of stress, and identify a variety of stress management techniques.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive 0.1 CEUs and the ability to print or save their certificate of completion immediately. The course is available at no cost to account holders with an active, annual individual or center-based subscription.
