Chicago, Feb. 23 – The editors of Talent Management magazine have announced that the “2009 State of the Industry Report” is now available for purchase. For the second year, the annual report marks the culmination of a comprehensive survey of talent management professionals.
With the dramatic upheaval of the economy, those surveyed indicated that their organizations have slashed their talent management budgets. The median annual planned expenditure dropped 46.7 percent compared to last year.
“The economy has made this a critical resource for HR executives and talent managers as they identify new trends and emerging ideas in the industry. It's also an effective way for them to benchmark their organizations' direction,” said Norm Kamikow, editor in chief of Talent Management magazine.
Talent Management's “2009 State of the Industry Report” examines six significant areas to better understand the key talent management trends. These include talent management definition; talent management integration and automation; workforce analytics; key challenges; collaboration, planning and investment; and importance vs. satisfaction comparison by area.
An Executive Summary of the report is available for free at www.talentmgt.com/report.
