Century 21 Real Estate LLC, a residential real estate sales organization, announced that Christina Murphy, its senior director of learning and development, has been appointed to the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) Forum’s Advisory Group.

The ASTD Forum offers a collaborative environment for senior learning professionals and their organizations to explore the challenges and opportunities faced by the industry at large. Forum members benefit from the ability to share knowledge, best practices and experiences with one another.

The advisory group consists of 10 members who serve as advisers, advocates, mentors, leaders for the forum and its members, and as partners with ASTD. Selected based on their leadership qualities, the primary role of advisory group members is setting direction for the forum, engaging the forum community, sharing the forum’s vision, championing goals and promoting the forum to prospective members.

Murphy joined Century 21 Real Estate LLC in December 2008 as director of staff development and now leads the company’s learning and development department.
