Minneapolis — Oct. 8
Pinnacle Performance Systems Inc., a professional coaching firm, announced the launch of “Cohort Executive Coaching.” Cohort Executive Coaching aims to provide leaders with access to executive coaching by combining coaching, mentoring and cohort group work into a structured development process.
Cohort Executive Coaching is based on Pinnacle’s A.R.T.ful Leadership model, using techniques that build admired, respected and trusted leaders accomplished through cohort coaching.
Because the program is designed for groups of six to eight leaders, companies are able to provide leaders with an executive coaching experience while avoiding the costly investment of individual coaching.
Supplementing the proven A.R.T.ful Leadership methods, Cohort Executive Coaching aims to build upon traditional one-on-one coaching experience and is strengthened through blending cohort groups and mentoring.
Aim to improve rational abilities by working with the cohort and one-on-one experiences that are part of the program; provide a networking opportunity by connecting leaders together in the process; build a leadership community through structured cohort development; allow leaders to share their experiences and perspectives, challenges and successes; and promote learning from others through mentor relationships.
Mentoring, meanwhile, aims to strengthen leadership agility by:
Pairing leaders together to allow leaders to leverage one another’s strengths; allowing individuals to support as well as challenge one another throughout their development; and provide an opportunity for leaders to model leadership behaviors and transfer them into their own leadership environment.
An executive coach:
Aims to provide coaching, guidance, support and clarity to the cohort, to mentorships and to individuals throughout the program; and facilitates the development of each individual and each mentorship relationship as well as ensures that the cohort is growing, sharing and learning as a leadership community.
