Chicago, April 15 — MediaTec Publishing Inc., the award-winning publisher of Chief Learning Officer and Talent Management magazines, today announced the launch of a new magazine, Diversity Executive. The announcement was made at The Conference Board’s 2008 Annual Diversity Conferences held at the InterContinental Chicago hotel.
“More and more organizations are realizing the power of diversity and inclusion as core business strategies. No longer is it enough to build awareness of the value of a diverse workforce and advocate for it throughout the organization,” said Norm Kamikow, president and editor in chief of MediaTec Publishing. “Diversity Executive will help organizational leaders move beyond awareness to action and impact.”
The new magazine, debuting September 2008, will reach an audience of 25,000 C-level executives, senior human resources leaders, corporate training executives, representatives of community organizations and federal and state government officials.
Kamikow added, “Diversity Executive will deliver leading-edge strategies to create a more inclusive business culture and help leaders leverage diversity for maximum organizational gain.”
Diversity Executive will feature thought-provoking editorial content, including columns by industry leaders such as Dr. R. Roosevelt Thomas of the American Institute for Managing Diversity; Dr. Kellie A. McElhaney of the University of California, Berkeley; and Dr. Robert Rodriguez, author of Latino Talent.
In addition to a printed bi-monthly magazine, Diversity Executive will offer readers a variety of media vehicles, including an interactive Web site, digital editions on the NXTbook platform, weekly e-newsletters and Webinars.
