1. Home Depot associates are expected to know how to use and maintain the power equipment they sell, yet Home Depot doesn’t provide any training on how to use a chainsaw or how to maintain one. Customers expect associates at Home Depot to have the knowledge of how to use a riding mower or snow blower and how to change the oil or replace the belts on a riding mower. Home Depot does not provide any training in these areas and the associates don’t have the necessary knowledge in these areas because they’ve never used a chainsaw, riding mower, or snow blower, etc., and Home Depot doesn’t provide the knowledge they need on how to use and maintain these products. It is a massive problem and I don’t understand why Home Depot doesn’t address it. Also, why are Home Depot employees paid minimum wage?
