About Liza Herzog

Liza Herzog, J.D., Ph.D., is Director of Evaluation and Impact at the Barnes Foundation and Director of Academic Research and Assessment at Drexel University’s Charles D. Close School of Entrepreneurship, with affiliated faculty appointments at Drexel’s School of Education and the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. An organizational development consultant with a background in law and educational research, she has led evaluation and early-warning-systems work that shaped district-wide policy in Philadelphia and beyond. Ravitch and Herzog are co-authors of Leadership Mindsets for Adaptive Change: The Flux 5 (Routledge, 2024).
