In recent years, however, it struggled to attract strong recent graduates in STEM fields. The learning operations and technology team, led by manager John Hovell, viewed this pitfall as an issue affecting the American education system. Therefore, the team decided to collaborate with educators and administrators at Liberty Elementary in Loudoun County, Va., and developed STEMerday, a program that promotes STEM topics such as robotics and forensics to elementary-age students on various Saturdays.
