to deliver the industry-leading content of its Human Capital Media Group (HCM) portfolio. The company is partnering with INXPO, the top provider of privately branded, video-based online environments, to produce Human Capital Media Television (HCM-TV).
“The most dynamic new hub of innovative programming exclusively for human capital professionals, HCM-TV is designed to be more than just a platform for online events,” said Norm Kamikow, MediaTec’s president and editor-in-chief. “It will deliver high-quality professional education and events, unprecedented access to industry thought leaders and a whole new level of social engagement.
“Human capital professionals who tune in to HCM-TV can interact, explore and share ideas, without ever leaving their desks or spending money on travel,” Kamikow continued. “Plus, its exceptional visibility and connectedness makes it easier for everyone to converse, collaborate and take an active role.”
The first program slated for broadcast on HCM-TV is Talent Strategies 2013: Talent Acquisition, part of HCM’s newest virtual-only event series offering thought leadership on the key pillars of talent management. The program, “Tailor-Made Talent: Acquisition’s New Era,” airs Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013. It will focus on the cycle of processes involved in sourcing, screening, assessing and recruiting the right talent, as well as on-boarding practices and employee branding initiatives.
In addition to keynote presentations from human capital experts, the online event will feature workshops and exhibits demonstrating innovative systems, services and tools being deployed to increase the efficiency and efficacy of talent acquisition efforts. Capitalizing on the powerful interactivity of HCM-TV, attendees will be able to navigate to different locations, engage with presenters and vendors and network with peers who share similar interests and objectives.
They also will get a first look at the easy-to-navigate virtual environment created by INXPO for HCM-TV. The new platform features dedicated channels for each Human Capital Media Group publication — programmed and hosted by the editors — offering online events, professional development opportunities and webinars on today’s hottest human capital management topics. A convenient program guide lists current, upcoming and archived events, while older programming is accessible via the Media Vault, an all-inclusive media library of Human Capital Media content.
“We’re very pleased to partner with MediaTec as they curate and make available content so vital to their audiences,” said Scott Kellner, chief marketing officer at INXPO. “The combination of timely information, social interaction and use of video will make for an intuitive and convenient experience for busy professionals.”
