Blackboard Inc. has expanded its presence in Latin America through a strategic local partnership.
The partnership with Quanam, an international consulting services firm, will aim to enable the company to help higher education institutions, government agencies and corporations in Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Bolivia and Paraguay support online teaching and learning, drive technology-enabled services and increase enrollment and student retention.
With local offices in Santiago, Lima and Montevideo, Quanam will work with Blackboard to provide greater access to the company’s online learning, mobile learning, Web collaboration, mass notification and learning analytics products throughout the region.
Blackboard products are currently being used in hundreds of higher education and government organizations throughout Latin America for online learning, mobile learning and Web collaboration.
This partnership will aim to expand the offered products and services in the region, giving institutions access to a wider range of advanced options to engage students.
