Global human capital services firm The Buller Group announced its launch of its Certified Veteran Recruiter (CVR) Program. The CVR Program aims to educate recruiting and HR professionals on the key skills and knowledge needed to address veteran talent acquisition and retention.
Even the most experienced participants reported measurable increases in skill and awareness as a result of the course, particularly in sourcing, resume translation, screening and interviewing.
Further increasing the program’s impact, The Buller Group partnered with Walter Reed Military Medical Center to incorporate a group of severely wounded service members, adding real-time career application for both participants and veterans.
The CVR Program’s Certificate of Completion bears the official seal of the Human Resources Certification Institute, and awards 15 credits toward PHR and SPHR recertification.
The Buller Group will host two more open enrollment sessions of the CVR Program in 2012 on Oct. 9-10 and Dec. 4-5 in Reston, Va.
