American Public University Partners with Tuition Advisory Services

As a member of the Network, APU will provide the opportunity for employees of TAS clients to maximize their tuition assistance benefits through enrollment in APU’s 100 percent online undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs.

American Public University (APU) and Tuition Advisory Services (TAS) announced a new alliance through the TAS Education Provider Network. As a member of the Network, APU will provide the opportunity for employees of TAS clients to maximize their tuition assistance benefits through enrollment in APU’s 100 percent online undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs.

TAS, a provider of managed education services, enables organizations to take a more strategic approach toward optimizing programs for both employers and employees. Its selective Education Provider Network is comprised of educational institutions dedicated to meeting the learning needs of the working adult and reducing costs for both the employee and employer.

The alliance incorporates APU’s prior learning assessment program to evaluate learning outcomes from previous life experience for the potential award of undergraduate academic credit, according to Michelle Maldonado, associate vice president of corporate and strategic relationships for the university.

“We’re pleased to offer TAS clients quality adult education programs that are rewarding to their employees and support organizational growth objectives,” Maldonado said. “Our programs offer the flexibility and accessibility to accommodate busy work-life schedules, while easing the financial burden of steadily rising tuition rates.”
