Michael Pennell has joined Buck Consultants' Honolulu office as director in the retirement practice.
Pennell joins Buck after serving as an independent actuarial consultant for the past nine years.
Before that, he worked as a consulting actuary with Deloitte & Touche.
He has nearly 25 years of consulting experience, which includes defined benefit plan design, actuarial valuations, pension administration and qualified domestic relations orders.
Pennell is an associate of the Society of Actuaries and an enrolled actuary.
He received his bachelor’s degree from Drexel University and his master’s degree from the University of Minnesota.
