About Amanda J. Felkey

Amanda J. Felkey, Ph.D., is the James S. Kemper Foundation Professor of Economics at Lake Forest College. Her research explores learner engagement, motivation, and the role of individual preferences in educational and workplace outcomes. A behavioral economist and educator, she has published research across economic education, decision-making, and labor market outcomes, and frequently presents her work at national and international conferences. She is passionate about helping organizations create learning environments that support engagement, growth, and performance.
