The Chief Learning Officer Business Intelligence Board

The 2020 Chief Learning Officer magazine Business Intelligence Board survey has closed. Sign up to receive updates on the 2021 Business Intelligence Board and we will send you a copy of the 2020 Learning State of the Industry results.

The Chief Learning Officer Business Intelligence Board (BIB) consists of senior learning and development practitioners, director and above. Approximately 33 percent are from organizations with revenue greater than $1 billion and approximately 25 percent are from organizations with revenue less than $5 million. The majority of organizations represented on the BIB have more than 1,000 employees. Approximately 17 percent of BIB organizations have between 1,000 and 4,999 employees. Approximately 15 percent of BIB organizations have between 10,000 and 49,999 employees. 72 percent of BIB members represent diverse industries ranging from education, consulting services, and health/medical services among others. Approximately 22 percent of BIB member organizations are Fortune 100 or Fortune 500 companies. Government agencies and non-profits are also represented in the BIB membership. 80 percent of the members are from U.S. headquartered organizations, 5 percent from Canada and the rest are headquartered internationally.
