2026 Chief Learning Officer Symposium Sprint

The 2026 Chief Learning Officer Symposium Sprint, “Human + AI: The CLO Playbook for the Future of Learning,” is a two-day virtual experience designed for chief learning officers ready to move beyond the AI hype and define a clear, strategic path forward. An intentionally shorter and tighter version of CLO’s annual Symposium, this event zeroes in on what matters most as AI rapidly transforms how work gets done: the enduring value of human capability.
The 2026 CLO Symposium Sprint will explore how to define and elevate the human advantage — from critical thinking and adaptability to empathy and judgment — while reimagining learning ecosystems where AI enhances, rather than replaces, development. A handful of sessions each day, including mini-keynotes, FastTalks and panels, will challenge leaders to shift from content creation at scale to capability building that drives real performance, and to leverage AI not just as a tool, but as a personalized coach that complements human mentorship and connection.
The program will also tackle some of the harder, more complex questions shaping the future of L&D. How do we build trust in AI-enabled learning environments? What does ethical, transparent use of AI look like in practice? And how do we measure success in ways that balance efficiency with meaningful human growth and engagement?
With a strong focus on leadership, attendees will gain practical insight into developing leaders who can effectively guide human + AI teams with emotional intelligence and sound judgment. Ultimately, this event aims to position CLOs as critical architects of enterprise capability, equipping them with the mindset, influence and playbook needed to lead in an AI-driven world.
