DESCRIPTION:The COVID-19 pandemic has expanded and pushed the boundaries of how quickly organizations — and their employees — can adopt massive changes. For most health care organizations\, this has involved furloughs\, newly remote teams\, rapid training on new safety protocols and equipment\, and revamped patient and visitor experiences. \nIn this session\, we’ll explore how one downsized HR team has enabled five additional change efforts over the past 18 months: launching a diversity\, equity and inclusion initiative; managing a corporate merger; adopting a new HR information system and applicant tracking system; deploying a new employee engagement platform; and reorganizing the department. Each of these efforts brought new challenges and new lessons about how to prioritize and execute strategic changes.

SUMMARY:The State of Corporate Learning Measurement Today
DESCRIPTION:There’s compelling evidence that\, despite pressure to measure the impact of their work\, many L&D professionals have yet to incorporate ROI metrics into their programs. We wanted to understand why. This survey\, conducted by Bellevue University’s Human Capital Lab and BetterWork Media Group\, received more than 400 responses from professionals across industries. We identified four distinct groups. Each approaches measurement and plans to measure differently; Those who do not measure and have no intention of measuring; Those who do not measure but plan to implement measurement; Those who measure on a program level; and Those who measure learning outcomes department-wide.
