DESCRIPTION:In a landscape of rapid economic and technologic change\, innovation is highly prized. In fact\, the latest learning State of the Industry study reinforced the value of innovation to create growth and workforce agility. \nThis paper presents the hypothesis that innovative qualities may be overlooked in most leadership training models today. Innovational leaders are different than Transformational Leaders and Transactional Leaders. They have different priorities and different work styles. Companies led by Innovational Leaders often experience extraordinary growth which grabbed our attention. \nIn this webinar\, we will present findings that led us to this hypothesis\, including which companies were studied and how we derived a profile of an Innovational Leader. We will also discuss leadership training program implications. \nThis webinar will be presented in a “fireside chat” format. Initially\, we will present our original research. It was the first time in recent PepsiCo history that a technology platform had concurrently launched globally. Looking back it was a huge success\, and it came with its share of change and transformation. We will discuss the transformation approach and change management strategies used in our highly matrixed organization. We will also cover stakeholder strategy and how engagement within the platform itself has evolved through those leaders. While launching during a pandemic surely accelerated some aspects and brought unforeseen challenges\, the lessons learned and best practices from this endeavor will extend beyond this era.
